Plot # 12:  Anywhere But Here

Muse a is running away from something in their past.Walking along the road because their car broke down, they’re determined to put as much distance between them and what they’re running from as possible. Muse b, driving away from something also, aimlessly wandering or possibly just trying to get to a destination, stops and picks up Muse a. They spend the next few days/weeks/however long getting to know one another, connecting, sharing their lives, crying, laughing, traveling together, doesn’t even have to be a ship, could just be an incredible friendship. and in the end they can part ways forever changed or stick together. however it pans out.

Muse a and muse b were childhood friends through their parents. Shy at first, the two quickly had built up a bubbling friendship as they were forced by their parents to spend time together. Spending their summer holidays swimming at a lake and having barbecues by each other’s cabins, they only met up when July was just around the corner and they traded textbooks and pencils for bathing suits and tree houses. But one summer, muse a’s family never arrived at the lake, and muse b was left confused and by their own. While muse b faithfully visited the lake on their summer holidays, muse a seemed to have disappeared out of their life. Now five years later, grown up and blossomed, muse a and their family finally show up at their cabin. Arriving to see a bewildered, and a quite surprised childhood friend of theirs.

        Wanted - Abandoned Town AU (Persons Unknown Inspired)

          Muse A and Muse B find themselves suddenly waking up in an old, practically abandoned, hotel. They are in separate rooms, and have no memory of how they ever got to the town to begin with. Neither are aware the other is in the town until they seem to run into one another.

          Both Muse A and B have to discover how to leave the town, however, if they reach the outskirts they pass out and wake up in their hotel room once again. 

         Neither Muse A nor B trusts one another, because they obviously have no backups for the stories and lies they have been feeding one another. Yet, both also know that they have to stick together to get out of this.

          Around the town they discover various empty little shops and buildings, and a few workers who are less than willing to tell them what the hell is going on here. It seems almost as if the town is merely revolving around them. Like the people who are there disappear when Muse A and B are away from them. 

          There are cameras located all through the town. Nothing they ever do will go unnoticed.

                         —-Possibilities: 

✖  A new muse arrives in the town, and both are sceptical of them being

             there.

✖  Someone has been going around killing anyone who tries to give

             them information, making them trust one another less than 

             before.

✖  Muse A or B begins to wonder if this is a dream, and what happens if

             they end up dying? Will they leave the town also?

✖  There happens to be a suspicious building located on the outskirts of

             the town. Does that hold all of the answers?
